ABOUT THIS SESSION
Justice Day is hosted by the Justice Reform Partnership (JRP), a collective of over 80 organizations and individuals committed to reducing the negative impact of Georgia’s criminal legal system. Speakers will provide information about problems and opportunities for improvements in Georgia’s criminal legal system, and provide solutions and concrete ways to take action. There will also be networking opportunities, a chance to engage lawmakers, hands-on learning opportunities, and ways to support people who are incarcerated. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
We are committed to making it possible for advocates to attend Justice Day from other parts of the state for this advocacy day. We are trying to arrange transportation options from various cities. Please indicate on your registration if you would like to utilize this transportation if we are able to secure it. Be aware that vans may leave as early as 5 AM and arrive home after 7 PM.
The event will also be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person. To ensure all attendees stay healthy, if you feel ill, have cold, flu, or Covid symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who is ill within the last 5 days, please do not attend in person. A livestream link will be provided as the date gets closer. Also, we encourage you to wear a mask at Justice Day, especially if you are not vaccinated.
LOCATION
Central Presbyterian Church, 201 Washington St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303
