Africa Films Showcase 2022 2

Thursday, October 20, 2022, 3:00 pm

Auburn Avenue Research Library, 101 Auburn Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30303, USA

You’re invited

RoadShow Africa, a subsidiary of RoadShow Equity Partners, is honored to present a first-of-its-kind joint event that bridges the gap between Georgia and Africa’s film industries.

Celebrate With Us

Film industry professionals, government organizations, and lovers of film and collaboration are invited to attend this one-night-only event and Awards Ceremony.

Guests are welcome to enjoy a cocktail reception and hors-d’oeuvres before prominent government and entertainment speakers introduce RoadShow and our subsidiary, RoadShow Africa.

Two insightful panels are included with all tickets, and you will not want to miss the Independent Filmmaking Panel featuring Markice Moore AKA “Kesan” and Dwayne Boyd, and our Distribution Panel featuring representatives from Tubi, Hulu, and Netflix.

After the panels, event hosts will introduce our showcase and display quality works from independent filmmakers, and African filmmakers.

Awards will be announced for the films that best represent innovation and filmmaking excellence. We are thrilled to have nominees from each category attend the event in-person, along with their guests.

Celebration will be continued after the closing remarks, followed by live music and a cocktail mixer with international dignitaries and community guests from multiple industries. We are grateful to receive video production support from our partner, Ripple Videos, and we are eager to provide donation support to our non-profit partner Saprea.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Guest Speakers

We are thrilled to be joined by Markice Moore aka “Kesan” of Tyler Perry’s The Paynes, The Walking Dead, and more. We are also joined by Dwayne Boyd, a producer, director, actor, and instructor at premier actors network. Our distributor panel will feature panelists from Netflix, Tubi, and Hulu.
