With years of business development experience, she’s earned the reputation of never settling for a passive answer to a challenging problem.

Jennifer Bradley Sip Frye - If Mom Ran Prisons - The National Incarceration Association

Jennifer Bradley – Panelist

Mother of the late Carrington ‘Sip’ Frye

Jennifer Bradley is a Family Nurse Practitioner hailing from Atlanta, GA by way of a small town in Arkansas. As a young girl, Jennifer grew up playing hospital with her younger sister. She would often prescribe LifeSavers for medicine and use ketchup for blood. Jennifer fulfilled those childhood dreams by eventually earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah, GA. During her matriculation there, she was spotlighted as Nurse Practitioner Student of The Month. 

Jennifer had a life shattering event when her youngest son, Carrington, was murdered in the Georgia Department of Corrections. This heightened her awareness for the need of social change and reform within society.  Jennifer has a passion for serving others, and sponsors an annual scholarship and back to school giveaway for those who are financially disadvantaged. She is also a published author and blogger.

Evelyn Cox Michael Cox - If Mom Ran Prisons - The National Incarceration Association

Evelyn Ware Cox attended Clark Atlanta University. Her schooling was interrupted when she became a mother at the age of 21.  Evelyn has two sons, Derwin and Michael, and a daughter Yolanda Nicole along with four grandchildren.

Evelyn recently obtained a Master’s degree in Ministry in the interest of Youth Leadership.  She also completed her Post master’s degree in Counseling Children and Adolescents in 2018. Evelyn has been a member of Word of Faith Cathedral for 21 years.   She serves as a counselor, and minister to those who have family members incarcerated.

Evelyn not only serves the community with Rehoboth, but serves with the National Incarceration Association, The End Mass Incarceration group, and the Justice for Georgia Reform Group.

Shay Ray Delaney Ray - If Mom Ran Prisons - The National Incarceration Association

Mother of Delaney Ray

Shay is a 57 year old mother of two daughters. Delaney is currently incarcerated and since then Shay has been raising her 9 year old grandson. She works full time as a licensed hairdresser of 38 years. Shay got involved in Justice Reform after sitting in Courtrooms during the different phases of her daughter’s case. She is serving a second term on the Commissioners Citizens Advisory Panel for Ga Department of Corrections and is on the NIA Working Team as a Special Projects Manager.
